What is an accident claim form?
An accident claim form (also called a European accident statement) is a standardised document used for traffic accidents in Norway and throughout Europe. The form ensures that all important details about the accident are properly documented, so insurance companies can process the case quickly and fairly.
The form should be filled in by both parties involved in a traffic accident, and contains information about the vehicles, drivers, insurance companies, extent of damage, and a sketch of the incident. It is the same form regardless of which insurance company you have.
